To view the full sized image (in Firefox) right click on the photo and select "view image". You should then be able to view the image at it's original size (may require and additional mouse click). This is useful for seeing details and reading text. These images were all digitally reproduced from paper originals, some of which were not well focused originally.

1981-1992 East Burke and Sutton, Vermont: Having signed a non-compete contract with Steve and Maxine, I concentrated on classical guitars, although I also made an arch top mandolin and guitar, several acoustic guitars and a few hammered dulcimers. In addition to guitar making, I built a house, earned a B.S. Degree in Environmental Science, taught music at the college level and performed Classical guitar at the Rabbit Hill Inn in Lower Waterford, VT for many years. Samples of the music I arranged and performed there can be found and purchased here and here.

Note: The Whiteheart guitar was a collaboration with Gary Lotspiech of Whiteheart Inlays, Sutton, VT. I Built the guitar and Gary provided the inlay and design. A true master craftsman.

1992-2008: I worked in public health and computer related jobs back in Colorado. During this time I designed and built a Solar powered home and workshop, finally making some use of my degree.

2009-present rural NE Colorado: Having finished the house, I am now building classical and custom acoustic guitars. Some of which are based on (but not copies of) designs from the NBN guitar company (1968-1976).
