This web site provides historical and current information about my instrument building. Over the course of 35 years, I have built under the names of Charles F Morrison, Morrison Guitar corp. and Flatiron Mandolins. I have built Classical, Acoustic, and Arch top guitars, Hammered Dulcimers, Mandolins and a few others I can't remember.
Read about the true story of Lutherie HERE . Well, I think it's the true history. It's hard to tell what is truth and what is fiction.
To receive my newsletter, please sign up here: Newsletter sign-up . This is a low traffic newsletter with just a few emails per year telling what my upcoming projects are, what (if any) instruments are available for sale and whatever might be on my mind at the time.

"WOW! I can't believe I finally found your web-site! I
purchased my Morrison acoustic, (#30), @ 3 years ago from a local music
store here in Glenwood Springs. I LOVE this guitar! The sound is
amazing, the craftsmanship is awesome!
Having grown up in Boulder, I am very familiar with NBN
and the music scene there at that time. I have owned so many guitars of
all brands and prices, this guitar is the finest!
So glad to see you are building again! I am looking for
another Morrison piece. So, I will be in touch periodically to see
about your guitars for sale.
Good to finally find you!!
Happily playing my Morrison,
Dave Hill"
